Lapolemik, Label of graphic creator
- Who are we ?
Lapolemik, it's at first a human story, the story of a group of buddies met on the benches of the school at the beginning of the 80's, and that 30 years later always want to go at the end of this project together, with the envy to create only unique and original designs. Our difference with the other websites of tee-shirt, most of them edit the work of external freelance designers, we edit only visuals of our collective, our project has sense only around graphic creation, drawing and art.
- what the T-Shirt represents for us ?
What better support to popularize our own artistic expression, the tee shirt is more than a way of expression, it reflects our style, our state of mind, our mood... it reflects an attitude, a way of seeing things, a curiosity... it means, looking for the inspiration and being creative to be out of the ordinary. We began by editing only tee-shirts, but since few years we print our designs on differents supports (Sweatshirts, Tunics, Tote Bags, Mugs, Posters, Stickers).

For many years, we decided to produce our T-Shirts, purchase of cotton to the final transformation of the product, we keep an eye on all the stages of transformation, but too many questions stayed without answers, so we decided to change the production system. And after long months of research, we found the partners who could guarantee us an exceptional quality and especially an irreproachable ethics.
- Certification
Our suppliers are committed to genuine sustainability right through their supply chain. Their affiliation with Fairwear Foundation (Corporate Social Responsibility) as well as their high standard certifications (GOTS, OCS 100, OCS Blended, OEKO TEX, REACH) prove their commitment to sustainable practices.
- Social responsibility
Our suppliers have adopted a robust policy with regard to the following minimum social responsibility criteria: No use of child labour, no use of forced labour, safe and healthy working conditions, payment of living wage, no discrimination against employees, no excessive hours of work. All the Company’s manufacturing facilities are regularly audited for social compliance and are running active monitoring programmes in accordance with standards advocated by the International Labour Organisation.

The textiles industry has to start acting a lot more responsibly. As we see it, change is the only option. And that starts with being aware that every purchasing choice can make a difference.

The payment is completely secured, in fact you reach a secure dedicated space provided by our banking institution which assures the security and the recording of the order of payment. Your banking data circulate on the Internet only in encrypted code, that means that they are coded to make them totally illegible. They never appear on our website, when you validate your order, you are automatically redirected to the secure website of "The Banque Populaire de L'Ouest", at any moment we have access to your data.

- Delivery methods
All our products are sent in big waterproof and tear-proof envelopes with a tracking number. The shipping methods are the Tracking Letter (tracking without warranty) or the Colissimo (tracking with warranty) which guarantee a delivery under 48 hours (you will have to choose the shipping method during the validation of your order).
- How long does it take to receive my order ?
All the orders are handled by our teams on the same day or next day after payment confirmation. So in general it takes a period of 3 days in total for France, however, there may be unexpected that lengthen a day or two. Beyond that, don't hesitate to contact us at : lapolemik@gmail.com, our team will be able to solve the problem as soon as possible.
For International shipping, Colissimo International guarantee a delivery under 7 days.
- Return and exchange
At Lapolemik, the customers can exchange or return their purchases within 14 days. Returned articles necessarily have to be in their original state at the risk of seeing refusing the refund by our technical service. The returns are at the expense of the customer. If you change your mind in 14 days following the reception of your order, you can exchange your products or be entirely paid off.
- What happens if i am absent at the time of the delivery ?
If you are not present during the delivery of the parcel, the postman will leave you a notice informing you how to get back your parcel or how to arrange a new delivery.
Clothing / Quality / Printing / Maintenance
- Size guide
In each product page you will find a size guide very specific for each item. Remember to check the size before ordering.
- Quality /Trendy Cut
The quality is in the detail. We make clothes in the purpose that they are worn. So the cut and the confort are very particular points of attention for us. All our Garments are 100% organic combed cotton ring-spun, we never use synthetic material, the grammage is 150, 160g/m2, this grammage gives a good elasticity to the tee shirt, and a special wear resistance.
We use essentially the digital printing. Colors settling directly in the fiber of the cotton. And when you touch, you feel absolutely no difference between the sweetness of the tee shirt and the printed part.
- Maintenance
The garments comply with the general performance standards in the clothing retail industry. Some shrinkage and twisting may occur after washing but will stay within the acceptable limits for dimensional stability performance. To minimize shrinking and twisting, it is recommended that the wash temperature does not exceed 40C in a standard or delicate washing cycle. Hot washes and tumble drying is likely to affect the dimensional stability of the garments and may also cause fading of colour. We encourage you to wash at 30C, do not tumble dry and only iron when necessary.

What to do if a product is no longer in stock ?
We regularly re-edited many of our creations, but it's possible that certain sizes or certain items, very fashionable, are out of stock very quickly. Do not hesitate to contact us at : lapolemik@gmail.com, we will inform you quickly about the future availability of our products.
- Can I save items in a Wish list ?
If you like one item, but you don't want to buy it right away, you can add it to your "wish list", in the product page under the button "Add to Cart". Then you can send your "Wish List" by email to your friends and to your family.
- Can I share my favorites on my social networks or on my blog ?
If you appreciate our work, our creations, you can share your favorites on your social networks, just click on the button "Social Networks", under "Add to cart", on each product page. Several social networks are available to share your wishes with your friends.
- Do I have to create an account to order with you ?
The answer is yes. By opening an account, you can place orders without having each time to re-enter your details. You will benefit from advantages like tracking your orders, regular newsletters and especially exclusive discounts. You can register immediately, or by finalizing your first order.

We are established for many years in Saint Malo Intra Muros for the pleasure of the locals and the tourists who come to discover this charming old corsair city. The shop is opened all year long, every day from 11am to 19pm during the summer (from April to end of September) and the school holidays, and only the weekends the rest of the time... Since January 2017, we opened a platform of wholesale, if you are interested to distribute our products in your shop, do not hesitate to register.
