It seems that the power of the dark side has succumbed to the courage of the Saint-Malo rebels. Indeed, an Imperial destroyer has just crashed onto Saint-Malo’s most famous beach. The flagship of a galactic fleet, it lies stranded there, wedged between two rocks, a sandcastle, and the iconic Bonsecours diving board. With the hull still smoldering and the metal twisted, the few survivors have abandoned their mission to take a dip and cool off like ordinary tourists. Helmets in the wind, blasters stowed away. For once they’ve hit the mark. It’s time for the big dive.
This is where Pop Art makes its move. It pulls iconic images from our memory and projects them into our reality. Star Wars meets Brittany. Geek culture makes its way between the ramparts and the sea spray. We love this striking contrast.
We’ve lived in Saint-Malo for years, it’s our home. We know its light, its pirates, its storms, and its lulls. An original work, born in our studio, somewhere between the sea and a galaxy far, far away.
